Go ministries

These ministries serve the Simi Valley Community beyond Simi Covenant.  Some come once a year and other more frequently. Opportunities to serve change based upon interest and needs in the community.

  • Missions and Outreach Team

    Our task is to help individuals and groups go and serve in the name of Jesus.  We are His hands and feet in our communities and the world.  

    "Global" activities include Adopt a Missionary, Packs for Tecate, and One Day Mission trips,  "Local" activities include serving Samaritan Center dinners (third Sunday of the month), staffing PADS (third Fri eve to Sat morn -Nov through March), and distributing Bags for the Homeless (in Simi).

  • Serve Days, 

    sponsored by ACTION network

    Annual community service event taking place in late spring.  Several community churches, including Simi Covenant, send volunteers to spread the love of Christ in a tangible way.  Watch for more info about Serve Day 2018!

  • LA Marathon

    sponsored with World Vision

    Help raise money for Water in Africa by joining Team World Vision and Team SimiCov.

  • Christmas Shoppe,  December

    sponsored  ACtion network

    Invited guests shop for new toys, sporting good, electronics, and more at no personal cost.  Children have supervised craft and playtime provided by Christmas Shoppe volunteers.  This is a collaborative effort by the churches in Simi Valley and the ACTION network.

    Donate toys by bringing them to Simi Covenant by Sunday, December 3.

  • Meal Ministry

    Often we supply meals for those who can't make their own due to short term difficulties.  If you can make a meal or help out, please consider helping!
