Where:

  • Meet at Simi Covenant Church 4680 Alamo St. Simi Valley, CA.

Course:

  • Our course will primarily travel over sidewalks — you never cross a street (Start at Simi Covenant Church and turn left to travel west on Alamo St. to Tapo St, turn left to travel south to Adam Rd; turn left (east) on Adam Rd. until arriving at Kadota St., turn left to travel north to Alamo St, then returning west to Simi Covenant Church (back to point A). We will complete this 2km loop a total of three times (=6k).

  • There will be two water stops: one at Simi Covenant Church and one on Adam Rd.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. World Vision is the largest non-governmental provider of clean water in the world bringing sustainable clean water to a new person every 10 seconds.

WHY IS IT A 6K INSTEAD OF A 5K?

Six kilometers, or 3.7 miles, is the average distance a person in the developing world has to walk to find water—water that is often not safe to drink or wash their hands with. We want to help you make that fact personal by covering that same distance so that someone else no longer has to.
