Jesus said, “…love your neighbor as yourself.” Mark 12:31

The people of our church seek to serve in many different ways in our community, from serving on boards of humanitarian organizations to simply taking meals to neighbors. But it is important that as a community we undertake some actions together in the name of Jesus.

Here are just a few examples:

Love Days (service)

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ACTION NETWORK
Annual community service event taking place each spring. Several community churches, including Simi Covenant, send volunteers to spread the love of Christ in a tangible way. See more at Action Love Days.

Team Simi Covenant

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WORLD VISION 
Help raise funds and awareness for clean water by joining Team World Vision and Team SimiCov.  There are many ways to get involved including running the LA Marathon, participating in the Global 6K each May, or the Matthew 25 Challenge in the Fall. Christmas Shoppe

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH ACTION NETWORK
This is the largest toy giveaway in Ventura County. Invited guests shop at 5 locations for new toys, sporting goods, electronics, and more at no personal cost. Children have supervised craft and playtime provided by Christmas Shoppe volunteers. This is a collaborative effort by the churches in Simi Valley and the ACTION network. Local activities

Local activities include Christmas Shoppe, serving Samaritan Center dinners, and distributing bags for those experiencing homeless in Simi.

Our sister church, Nueva Esperanza Covenant Church, serves food twice weekly - on Tuesdays in Los Angeles and Fridays at 1pm at the church - 4680 Alamo St. Simi Valley, CA
